With the current threat from the Covid-19 we thought it would be useful to update our customers on our response at Soot Master Chimney Sweeping. Clearly our job involves coming into contact with customers in their own home on a daily basis. We always act to safeguard the health of our customers and ourselves.
 

• We will be rescheduling jobs if we are unwell or experiencing any symptoms of the virus
   

 

• We are asking all of our customers at the booking if they are experiencing any symptoms, have been in contact with anyone experiencing symptoms or are in a particular high risk category

 

• We will wear face masks and maintain social distancing guidelines at all times

 

 

• We always wear high quality Personal Protective Equipment (gloves and face covering) and ensure that all appropriate precautions are taken

 

• We will wipe down our tools and equipment with anti-viral cleaner before and after each use.  We will use a clean tarp for ground covering for each job when working indoors

 

• We will send you a digital invoice and not ask you to sign anything

 

As people have been staying at home and using their fireplaces and appliances, we will be doing our part to prevent disruptions in service while protecting you and your family. We hope the actions that we are taking will mean that there is no additional risk to our customers, while allowing us to carry out the necessary work to keep your chimney in safe working order.  Please let us know if you would like us to take any further steps on your behalf.
